Their parking garage is very well-lit, and we are usually able to park relatively close to the casino entrance.
I like going to Hollywood because it's totally non-smoking, very clean, and easy to navigate around. We are conveniently situated between Toledo and Detroit, so we've also been to all the casinos in Detroit. That being said, my husband and I like to go to casinos occasionally for a night out with friends or family. I'm not a big fish when it comes to gambling. If you're going spend your money on gambling, don't waste your time. You get a better deals on the buffets in Vegas. & the meal prices aren't even remotely worth the price. Go to Detroit or Windsor to get a better more well rounded experience. It's similar to Atlantic city in the sense that once you go off the grounds there is nothing remotely attractive about the surrounding. You're more worried about what bums are going to come out of the woods or from down the street and bother you for spare change.
It was the worst place, other than in the middle of a sanctuary for wildlife to place this building. The casino stands right on the riverfront directly outside, from any direction I might add, from totally blue collar towns and establishments. This Casino just stands completely out of place in a city not known for it's gambling. Toledo is known for just a few things and a being highfalutin well-to-do gamblers destination is not one of them.
